Secure your ideal car with Go Garage
Import Brokering and Calculator
Our import broker service does not only buy from Japanese auctions, but also from dealerships, wholesalers, and private sellers, providing a far better reach, especially for rare/barn find cars. We also import cars from other countries, such as the UK, New Zealand and Hong Kong, and have people on the ground to handle the import process with full confidence.
Other additional services include maintenance/modifications in Japan before arriving in Australia, as well as full parts, maintenance and registration support after you receive the car.

Step 1 - Commencement
Pay import broker fee to begin the search.
Our fee is $1,800.
It is refundable but will deduct $500 for administration fees if the order is cancelled.
We will discuss your dream car and build the requirements of what you're looking for.
Brand? Model? Mileage? Colour? Factory Options? Factory Accessories?

Step 2 - Curating a selection
We send you all cars matching your criteria available at auctions, dealers, or wholesalers.
We will give you our expert advice and help you pick out the one that suits the most.

Step 3 - Undertaking inspections
Once you're happy with which vehicle to go with, we will send our agent to inspect the vehicle in person and provide you with a detailed report and photos.
We will then advise you if we should go ahead with the car or not, based on the report.

Step 4 - Bidding
You decide if we bid to your budget, or under/over depending on the condition of the car. We submit the bid for you, working it out to your budget landed and complied. Flexibility is key here to not miss out on your dream car.

Step 5 - Payment for car
After winning the bid or we have purchased the vehicle, you will pay 80% of the landed and complied price of the vehicle.
We will handle the transfer of car cost + fees for you to Japan. We will also start organising and booking the transport to Australia

Step 6 - Final inspection
The car gets inspected once more upon receiving it from the auction/dealer, and add any other accessories and double check the car before it leaves for Australia.

Step 7 - Shipment to Australia
Car leaves from Japan and arrives here. The second payment of 10% of the landed and complied price is required here.
The car will then go through customs and border control at the ports.

Step 8 - Compliance and Engineering
Once the car is released from the port, we will get the car transported to our compliance and engineering partner.
Once compliance work has been completed, we can provide additional services such as oil/fluid change, new tyres/batteries, detailing, ceramic coating, installing Thinkware dashcam etc.
That way everything is conveniently done before you pick up the vehicle.

Step 9 - Delivery
When compliance and engineering is completed, the last remaining 10% payment and payment for any additional items is required to pick up the car/arrange for delivery and register it.
If you are based in NSW, we can help register the car on your behalf for $330 in addition to the cost of registration.
Other additional services include maintenance/modifications in Japan before arriving in Australia, as well as full parts, maintenance and registration support after you receive the car.
