If there's anything you can expect from Subaru, it's the plethora of special editions they put out for every model they make. For example, the GVB/GRB platform has no less than 6 limited editions for the STi version. And one of them, is this one.
 
It's a bit of a wolf in a dinner jacket. Without the shouty factory wing and foglight delete, it looks quite similar to its meeker WRX sibling. However, the well traveled car enthusiast will spot the giant Brembo brakes, special STi forged wheels, and the carbon fibre roof, and know this is an Impreza to not meddle with.
 
The carbon fibre roof is complemented by a lightweight aluminum bonnet and forged wheels. On the underside, there is plenty of chassis stiffening braces to ensure it dances through corners and puts it turbo power down easily. The bushes are slightly stiffer to enhance feedback without shaking the driver's teeth out. Even the turbocharger has been upgraded with a more freely spinning core. This means it'll develop maximum torque lower in the RPM and a touch more power. On the inside, front Recaro seats hug the driver and passenger securely, finished in tasteful black leather and Alcantara with red stitching. Carbon fibre trim pieces replace the usual drab silver plastics, and even the door trims are finished in that red stitched Alcantara material. This cabin is the definition of classic sports.
